What is Domain Name Registration

Domain registration gives you the ability to chose a name for your website and register it.
As long as you have your website name registered, no one can take it from you. No one ever
OWNS the domain name, they are registered or rented from year to year through a Domain Registrar.
You can register your name for 1 year or 10 years, the choice is yours. Sites that are registered for
over 5 years seem to get better ratings on the major search engines. When selecting your domain name,
you will be able to select the extension that you would like to use.
